Each year, San Diego Civic Youth Ballet produces four major productions at the Casa del Prado Theater: The Nutcracker (December); a full-length spring ballet (March/April); the school-wide Spring Showcase (May); and the annual scholarship fundraiser, Fairy Tales in the Park (August).

Performers are San Diego Civic Youth Ballet dancers ranging in age from 4 to 18.  Students fill both supporting and principal roles, making each production a celebration of a thriving youth arts community.
