Anatoly Sisman
Ballet Instructor

Mr. Sisman, a former principal dancer with Kiev State Ballet, and Anatoly’s wife Polina, classically trained pianist, his dance partner and assistant, immigrated to the United States from the Ukraine in 1989. Mr. Sisman was trained in the classical school of Russian Ballet from the age of 7. He received his BA in choreography from Kiev State Academy, and from there received a job dancing at the famous Ballet Theatre in the great cultural center of Lviv, Ukraine. After coming to the USA, Mr. Sisman successfully taught dance at various schools throughout San Diego, California, Montreal, Canada, and Tijuana, Mexico. His students enjoyed his highly structured, traditional classes. A number of his students are now working with professional ballet companies here and abroad, and as their parents say, wherever they are, the young dancers are looking for the ballet coaches of Mr. Sisman’s quality.
