Brook Ogle
Ballet Instructor

Brook Ogle was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and began serious training at the age of 9 with the Briarwood Ballet. She also studied intensively with Dame Sonia Arova at the Alabama School of Fine Arts, and studied privately with Pamela Merkel-Sayle of Alabama Dance Academy. Brook has received additional training from the Kirov Academy, American Ballet Theatre, Alabama Ballet, Alabama School of Fine Arts, Ballet Magnificat, Hosanna Sacred Arts, Nashville Ballet and the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in St. Petersburg, Russia. She earned a BFA in Dance Performance from Butler University, dancing soloist and principal roles with Butler Ballet. She has performed in Brazil, Russia, throughout the American Southeast, Northeast, and Midwest, and was featured as the cover story of the May 1999 issue of Brio Magazine. Brook has danced professionally with Nashville Ballet, Charleston Ballet Theatre, Hosanna Sacred Arts, and as a guest artist with Ballet Internationale and Yuma Ballet Theatre. She is currently in her first season with City Ballet of San Diego.
