Felicia Alvarez
Member of the San Diego Ballet Company

Ms. Alvarez began her training at SDCYB and studied there for 7 years. She has attended Ballet Pacifica’s Summer Intensive where she studied under former ABT principal dancers. In addition, she received training at Ballet Magnificat’s Summer Teacher’s Workshop and has studied choreography and dance history at UCSD. Ms. Alvarez has danced with La Diego Dance Theatre and continues to choreograph and dance for a liturgical dance team at her church. She was the lead dancer in The King and I with the San Diego Lyric Opera in 2006. Ms. Alvarez has taught SDCYB’s Balboa Park 5th Grade Program for the past three years and was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2005. Ms. Alvarez is currently pursuing degrees in both French and Business at UCSD.
