Jillian Nealon
Ballet Instructor & Office Assistant

Originally from Rochester, NY, Jillian Nealon trained at the Draper Center for Dance Education/Rochester City Ballet under the directorship of Timothy Draper and Jamey Leverett. She furthered her training at numerous summer intensive programs, including ABT, Miami City Ballet, Ballet Austin, Princeton Ballet, Kirov Ballet, and Kaatsbaan. Upon graduating high school, Jillian joined Ballet Austin as a trainee for one year and afterwards went on to attend Indiana University where she danced with the School of Music’s Ballet Theater. While there she worked closely with world-renowned Violette Verdy, Jacques & Virginia Cesbron, and Guoping Wang. Jillian has also had the privilege of working with Guest Artists Suzie Pillare, John Clifford, and Julie Kent. She graduated from IU in 2005 with a B.S. in Ballet and Kinesiology.

Jillian is currently entering her fourth season as a company member with the San Diego Ballet.
