Kerri De Nies received her training with Connecticut Concert Ballet where she performed for 13 consecutive years, in addition to performing as a guest artist with the Windsor Ballet and the Rhode Island Moving Company.  After joining the faculty of CCB at age 16, Miss De Nies taught at several ballet schools in Connecticut before moving to San Diego in 2007 where she continued as a ballet instructor at California Ballet as well as San Diego Civic Youth Ballet, where she served as the Registrar & Ballet Mistress from 2010 to 2016.  Miss De Nies (along with fellow instructor Jessica Reed-Cancel) has developed a program for SDCYB, Ballet for Me!, which is a classical ballet program for children with unique physical needs.  This is a dream Miss De Nies has had ever since she was a child and overcame a hip disease that prevented her from dancing.
