SDCYB utilizes an online, digital contact system which tracks all of our students and families. Students and families must be registered in our system before taking a trial class or enrolling in a class.
SEE BELOW for detailed instructions about the enrollment process, depending on the student's age.
Note: Completing and submitting an online registration form and signing the digital handbook does NOT enroll your student in any classes. Families MUST CALL OR VISIT OUR OFFICE to enroll in classes and pay tuition.
Registration, Placement, and Enrollment Process:
Ages 4-6: Students ages 4-6 will be placed in a class according to age, regardless of prior ballet or dance experience.
Beginners (Ages 7 & Up): New students with little to no previous ballet training will be placed in a beginning class according to age. We offer beginning ballet classes for ages 7 through adult.
Ages 7 & Up (With Prior Ballet Training): New students ages 7 and up with previous, recent ballet training will be placed in a level according to experience and abilities after attending a placement class with an SDCYB faculty member.
ALL NEW STUDENTS MUST DO THE FOLLOWING THREE STEPS BEFORE ENROLLING AT SDCYB:
1. Fill out online registration form.
2. Read, understand, and digitally sign the updated SDCYB Parent & Student Handbook.
3. Call or visit the SDCYB office to schedule a free trial class or enroll in a class.
