Rebecca Seiley has 25 years of teaching experience in all levels of ballet from tiny tots to advanced, pre-pointe to variations and pas de deux. Locally, she has taught for the Dance Conservatory, La Mesa Village Arts, Spotlight Dance Arts, Infinity Dance, Scripps Dance Center and served as the Artistic Director for SDCYB from 1989 - 1998. She is excited to be part of the SDCYB team again. 

Ms. Seiley enjoys working with young dancers and has directed and choreographed many student productions including full-length versions of The Snow Queen, The Nutcracker, Little Mermaid, The Steadfast Tin Soldier, and The Night Before Christmas.   

Ms. Seiley trained with the San Diego Ballet in the Royal Ballet style under Lynn Hodgkinson, Patty Blaha and Erling Sunde. She went on to perform with the San Diego Ballet, California Ballet and American Festival Ballet. She has also performed in musical theater companies including Starlight, Musical Theater North and the Salt Lake Repertory Company. Ms. Seiley holds a BA in Dance from UC Irvine.
